Leadership in Action
EOBA is proud to partner with CORO, a nationally recognized leadership development organization that prepares emerging leaders to address complex community challenges through hands on learning, civic engagement, and public service.
This summer, CORO Exploring Leadership Fellows Dhairya Kochar and Rosie Silverberg spent time at EOBA documenting our work and the impact of our Future Works youth workforce program. Through interviews, storytelling, and thoughtful observation, they created this short documentary that captures the heart of our mission and the young people who make it possible.
We are grateful for their creativity, professionalism, and dedication, and we are proud to share their outstanding work with our community
Empowering Oakland youth through wellness, academics, and community
Using boxing as a model of discipline, courage, and perseverance
Serving all Oakland youth from ages 5-20
Our programs are designed for two age groups:
Ages 5-13: After-School Program and Summer Camp
Ages 14-20: Internship, mentoring, boxing (with 4 volunteer hours per month required for boxing)
